We do not sell kittens to homes where they will be allowed out unsupervised. We want our kittens to be ‘indoor’ cats, where possible with access to an outside run or secure garden. This is not because we are being too ‘precious’ about our ‘babies’, but purely and simply because they are beautiful, friendly cats that attract attention and may therefore easily be stolen, and – and most importantly – as a breed, they seem to have absolutely NO street sense when it comes to roads!
Maine Coons can also easily be trained to a harness and leash, in order to have safe access to the outside world.
